The Idyllwild Community Center Case for Support
ICRC is spearheading the ambitious task of building the new and long-needed Idyllwild Community Center (ICC). The
new Community Center will be a place for locals and visitors alike, facilitating fitness activities, educational programs, and much more -- symbolizing the heart and soul of Idyllwild. This document outlines the overall scope of the project, its specific elements and a plan to achieve the goal of constructing the project as designed by Robert Priefer and Dave Lillieholm, written by Kathy Harmon-Luber. |

The Idyllwild Community Center Feasibility Report
In the summer of 2009 the Idyllwild Community Recreation Council hired Cliff Underwood of Underwood & Associates of
San Diego to conduct a feasibility study for mounting a capital campaign to build the Idyllwild Community Center (ICC). Confidential interviews formed the basis of this study and these resulting recommendations. |

Our Vision
The Idyllwild Community Recreation Council (ICRC) formally took possession of the property in early June, 2008, that will
serve as the site of the future Idyllwild Community Center. Since that time, work has steadily progressed on the location including demolition of the existing structures and installation of a new temporary power source that will enable work to continue. |
|
The first project completed and installed on the
property was an 18 -station Fitness Trail. A Playground is slated as the next facility to be delivered and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2011.
Plans are currently underway for the design of
classroom and restroom facilities with an expected completion date of late 2012. |
